The Banter Club meet at 1030 on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month (with the exception of July & August)
This group is primarily for members and their wives who are over 55 with Masonic connections, and widows of former Masons living in Gosport and the surrounding areas.
A wide range of activities are arranged by the club. We have visiting speakers who talk on subjects, which can be wide and varied, have time for a get together over a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits. We arrange outings to the theatre, day trips to places of interest, lunches and social events held at regular intervals.
Within the province of Hampshire & Isle of Wight we have eleven clubs operating to provide a social contact for brethren, their dependents and the elderly. These circle provide an invaluable service.

June 4, 2010
In June, 2010 we organised a trip to London and visited Freemasons’ Hall which has been the centre of English Freemasonary for 230 years.
It is the meeting place for over 1000 Masonic lodges and is the headquarters of the United Grand Lodge of England, the oldest Grand Lodge in the world. It is now home to all of the Masonic Charities.
